Additional help and guidance

If you are experiencing difficulties in mental health, and have not done so already, your first step should be to seek professional medical advice from a healthcare professional such as your GP.
Your GP may be able to assist with advice, support, medication or a referral to other professional services in order to support your needs.
NHS counselling
It may be possible to be referred for free counselling through the NHS.
Speak to your GP for eligibility and details.

Private Counselling
Private counselling is available to people who choose to get help and support outside of the NHS .
This means that clients book and pay directly for the services they receive with a private counsellor or therapist.
Private counselling is attractive as there are no lengthy waiting lists and therapy is often more
bespoke, personal and tailored to individuals' circumstances.
